We serve our Lord in so many different ways and hope if you aren't already doing so, you'll consider lending your talents to one of the many Committees that help do the work of the Lord at St. Paul's.  Here's a little about each:

Hands of Grace - While Hands of Grace is not really a committee it is a ministry of St. Paul's Lutheran Church just as all that is listed below!!  To meet St. Paul's stated mission, Hands of Grace will help to meet the basic needs of individual families experiencing a temporary financial crisis. They provide food, clothing, household items, baby goods and furniture at no charge to their clients.  Members of this committee are members of St. Paul's.  Hands of Grace is not located on the church campus, instead, it is located at 433 Main St., New Hartford, CT and has it's own telephone/fax number:  860-738-0299.  Email:  handsofgracect@gmail.com   If you are experiencing a need, please do not hesitate to call or email them.

The Voters' Assembly - Each member of St. Paul's of voting age (18+) gathers and is invited to direct the vision and plans of the Church.  The assembly meets annually in January.  Be sure to watch this website and the weekly bulletins and announcements.

The Church Council - The overall group handles each month the business of the Church and oversees the work of all other committees. It receives its authority from the Voters, who are the members of St. Paul's.  The council meets the second Tuesday of every month.

The Elders - These spiritual leaders of the Church plan worship, spiritual gatherings, and consider doctrinal matters and the spiritual well-being of each church member.  The elders meet the first Tuesday of every month.

Kids for Christ - The staff, led by our Sunday School Superintendent Lisa Evon, care for the Christian Education needs of the congregation.  They have regular meetings as per the schedule of the teachers.

Stewardship - This group has oversight of the way Christ wants us to use our time, talents, and financial resources. It helps our Church prepare an overall financial goal for each year's vision and ministry.  It meets on the third Tuesday of each month.

Trustees - This group handles property care, upkeep and maintenance of the physical facilities that comprise the House of the Lord.  The trustees meet the second Tuesday of every month.

Mission Education - This group focuses on our outreach and fellowship needs, planning many fellowship activities and discovering ways we can support the work of Christ locally, nationally, and internationally.  This group currently meets with the Stewardship committee on the third Tuesday of every month.

Ladies Aid Society - The women of our Church gather in this group for mutual uplifting and support of missions, social service agencies, and other areas of service to St. Paul's and the Christian Church at large.

The Lutheran Women's Missionary League - United with Lutheran Women throughout our Synod, we gather in Mission to assist the nationwide and worldwide outreach of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The International Lutheran Women's Missionary League, or Lutheran Women in Mission, is a united ministry of thousands of women in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and sends relief and blessing to thousands of God's children from Botswana Africa, to Papua New Guinea to Appalachia in the United States.  This group meets the first Wednesday of every month at 11:30 am.

St. Paul's Community Nursery School - The group oversees this outreach to our community via our Nursery School.
