We serve our Lord in so many different ways and hope if you aren't
already doing so, you'll consider lending your talents to one of the many
Committees that help do the work of the Lord at St. Paul's. Here's a
little about each:
The Voters' Assembly - Each member of St. Paul's of voting age
(18+) gathers and is invited to direct the vision and plans of the Church.
The assembly meets annually in January. Be sure to watch this website and the weekly bulletins and announcements.
The Church Council - The overall group handles each month the business of the Church and oversees the work of all
other committees. It receives its authority from the Voters, who are the
members of St. Paul's. The council meets the second Tuesday of every
month.
The Elders - These spiritual leaders of the Church plan worship, spiritual gatherings, and consider doctrinal matters and the spiritual well-being of each
church member. The elders meet the first Tuesday of every month.
Kids for Christ - The staff, led by our Sunday School
Superintendent Kelly Tellier, care for the Christian Education needs of the
congregation. They have regular
meetings as per the schedule of the teachers.
Stewardship - This group has oversight of the way Christ wants us to use our time, talents, and financial resources. It helps our Church prepare an overall financial goal for each year's vision and ministry.
It meets on the third Tuesday of each month.
Trustees - This group handles property care, upkeep and maintenance of the physical facilities that comprise the House of the Lord.
The trustees meet the second Tuesday of every month.
Mission Education - This group focuses on our outreach and fellowship needs, planning many fellowship activities and discovering ways we can support the work of Christ locally, nationally, and internationally.
This group currently meets with the Stewardship committee on the third
Tuesday of every month.
Ladies Aid Society - The women of our Church gather in this group for mutual uplifting and support of missions, social service agencies, and other areas of service to St. Paul's and the Christian Church at large.
The Lutheran Women's Missionary League - United with Lutheran Women throughout our Synod, we gather in Mission to assist the nationwide and worldwide outreach of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The International Lutheran Women's Missionary League, or Lutheran Women in Mission, is a united ministry of thousands of women in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and sends relief and blessing to thousands of God's children from Botswana Africa, to Papua New Guinea to Appalachia in the United States.
This group meets the first Wednesday of every month at 11:30 am.
Greeter's Ministry - This Group welcomes individuals each week
before the services as well as helps adults and children find there way
around St. Paul's for the various activities on Sunday morning.
St. Paul's Community Nursery School
- The group oversees this outreach to our community via our Nursery School.
